Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatha Medical Trust is one of the many institutions that is established and operated by SDM Trust, under the visionary leadership and blessing of Poojya Dr D Veerendra Heggade

SDM Medical trust was established in the year 1979, with an inspiring cause of building an ecosystem that is completely dedicated to serve the community in providing compassionate care in the spectrum of health. While millions of people in our country suffer from access to quality healthcare, the need of the hour to set up an establishment that can fulfill in terms of quality that could reach out to citizens at an affordable cost is the driving force that runs this trust.

Under the admirable guidance of our president Poojya Dr D Veerendra Heggade, we have emerged as an exemplary system in delivering society, its right to access quality healthcare.

Our president has been conferred with numerous accolades including Padma Vibhushana (The second highest civilian award in India) in the year 2015, by the Govt. of India in recognition of his contribution towards the welfare of society and communal harmony.

The foundation has established hospitals, medical schools, research centers, and world-class laboratories all over India in the past several years, and is still working to increase this number as we are committed to bridge the gap between society and healthcare.
