Dharmasthala is situated in southwest Karnataka. Dating back to 800 years there stands a beautiful Shree Kshetra Manjunatha Swamy temple in the praise of Lord Shiva which is one of the most sought out pilgrim places of South India. Apart from being the place of spirituality, this place is also very famous for one of the biggest kitchens in south India, (Annapoorna) feeding all the devotees coming in during any hour of the darshanam.
Dharmasthala represents religious tolerance wherein caste, creed, and faith of pilgrims are no bars. The place welcomes devotees all around the year. Dharmasthala also includes notable places like the Manjusha museum, a giant statue of Bahubali and not to forget the lush greenery filling your hearts and minds on both sides of the road when you are 10 km away from the temple making your journey worth it.
